These 3 images were a part of my second thesis project in my fourth year of Illustration at Sheridan College.

I was increasingly interested in drawing animals at the time, especially sea life, and I happened to be taking an environmental science class. I also wanted to try my hand at designing compositions for different sized canvases in a series.

The illustrations were first created in Illustrator, and then were taken into Photoshop for the texture.

Part 1, focused on sustainably harvesting fish and shellfish.

Part 2, focused on restoring coral.

Part 3, focused on farming kelp.
